K Benson Associates, the provider of business advisory services to creative companies, offers a range of services aimed at assisting small businesses in the creative sector in London to develop their business plans and to obtain external funding. We also provide a business support service, which provides specialist advice, on an as required retainer basis, in a number of key business areas.
Both start-up and existing businesses need money for a number of things, e.g., to buy capital equipment, to market the products and/or services and to bridge the cash flow 'gap' that exists for most businesses between having to pay for incoming goods (and associated wages) and receiving payment from customers.
Many small businesses fail to successfully access necessary funding because of the poor quality of their finance propositions rather than because funding is not available.
We are currently working with both Start-Up businesses and existing Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME’s) that are seeking or planning to seek finance and who can demonstrate a viable business opportunity. We can help these companies to explore all the options and to present successful cases for funding through grants, loans and/or equity investment.
The Investing for Success programme enables existing business owners in London to receive essential step by step assistance through the process of raising finance over £10,000. This programme is heavily subsidised by the London Development Agency, so that typically there is no cost to the client for the total programme of support.
Should your business not be eligible for Investing for Success support, the KBA FundAssist scheme is aimed at preparing your company to become "finance ready".
Whatever type of external finance you need, one of these schemes can help you find a solution.
Over the past eight years, KBA has assisted more than 150 creative businesses in their search for additional financing.
In addition, KBA can offer specialist advice, on an "as required" retainer basis, in a number of key business areas, via KBA Retainer Services.
