KBA offers a range of additional services to creative sector clients, including:
* KBA Retainer Services
Starting and managing your own business will inevitably involve facing some tough challenges and having to make some difficult decisions. There will be times when you need specialist advice. At other times, being able to turn to an experienced person that you know and trust for business support can be a great help. KBA can offer specialist advice, on an as required retainer basis, in a number of key business areas.
KBA can provide the information, advice and support you need to start, maintain and grow your business.
A KBA Business Adviser, with in-depth experience of working with your type of business, can help you to organize your business activities to make your enterprise as commercially successful and financially rewarding for you as possible.
Your KBA Adviser will be an experienced and successful business person and a good listener. It is great to have someone objective to bounce your thoughts and ideas off. Regular communication with your KBA Adviser will help you to decide whether your current and future ideas are worthwhile.
Whenever you need to know something, the ability to call up and speak to your KBA Adviser who is able to help, provides a really effective and friendly business information service. You can depend on the information you are given, as the advice provided is unbiased. Having the luxury of someone you can trust outside of your business giving you the benefit of their knowledge and experience can prove to be very beneficial.
Small businesses dont have big management teams. For example, you do not have a Financial Director you can talk to about money matters. So its really helpful to have an experienced businessman to speak to about finance, together with other key elements of the business, such as:
Business Planning
Obtaining Funding
Marketing Strategy
Sales Operations
Effective Use of the Internet
Financial Operations
Business Systems
Recruitment
The ability to meet up with your KBA Business Adviser on a regular basis each
month to discuss how things are going, where the business has reached and where you plan to take it in the future, will prove a big bonus for the successful ongoing development of your company.
* Assistance with the Development of your Business Plan
Should you decide to develop your own Business Plan, KBA will provide specific assistance on a face-to-face basis, at any time during the preparation of the Business Plan or following its completion.
The cost of this KBA support will depend on the level of KBA involvement required by the client.
* Business Plan Audit
If you have prepared your own Business Plan, KBA will audit your completed plan and, as appropriate, offer suggested amendments and/or additions, which will improve the content and/or presentation of the plan.
The cost to undertake a Business Plan Audit is from £200.00 + VAT.
